On the 23rd March the finalists gathered at the beautiful All Saints Church in Kingston’s Market Place, to see who the lucky winners were.

Although some of the usual events still won’t be running until 2022, there are still some great opportunities to wrap up warm and see fantastic fireworks in 2021. Here are the ones that are confirmed:

Bramley Bonfire

Date: Saturday 6th November

Entry: Free but donations welcome on the day

This year’s Bramley Bonfire promises to be bigger and better than ever. Bonfire construction has started already so keep an eye on the official Facebook page for updates and to get involved.

Chiddingfold Bonfire

Date: Saturday 6th November

Entry: Free

Chiddingfold Bonfire is more than just fireworks, with a great variety of stall holders selling hot food and a procession of 400 torches to light the magnificent bonfire. Visit the official website for more information.

Cranleigh Fireworks and Bonfire

Date: Saturday 6th November

Entry: Donations welcome

The fun begins in the afternoon at this year’s event in Cranleigh. From 1pm enjoy the fun of the fair on the common, take part in the Make-A-Guy competition in Stocklund Square at 3pm, and hold your torch aloft in the procession at 5.45pm. Fireworks set to music begin at 7.30pm.

Epsom Fireworks and Funfair

Date: Saturday 6th November

Entry: £10.00 during October, £12.00 online in November or on the gate on the day. Under 5s – Free

Epsom’s event will take place at Hook Road Arena. A low noise display will start at 6.30pm for children, with the main show starting at 7.30pm. This is a ticketed event and you can buy yours online or on the gate of Hook Road Arena from 5.30pm.

Guildford Lions Fireworks Fiesta

Date: Saturday 6th November

Entry: Adults – £11.00, Children (Under 16) – Free

Experience Guildford’s Stoke Park full of music and a selection of food and drink stalls from 6pm, with the fabulous fireworks taking flight at 8.30pm. Tickets available from See Tickets.

Farnham Fireworks and Torchlit Procession

This year’s event in Farnham Park will open from 5pm. Experience a new look Food Village, live music and the torchlit procession leaving Central Car Park at 6pm. Fireworks will follow a countdown led by local key workers at 7.45pm. Buy tickets here.

Managing To Get Through The Year

Like many businesses, getting through this year during a pandemic has been tough. But, despite being closed for 3 months and only being able to return on a part-time basis to start with, we managed to get through it.

We would like to thank all our wonderful customers for understanding the strain on our business and the situation we’ve been in with demand and supply chain issues – we really appreciate all your support!

We also know not all businesses have been as fortunate as we have been, with closures and people losing their jobs. We hope that things return to normal soon so that people can find their feet again and our hearts go out to all those affected in any way this year by Covid-19.

Our Latest Ranges

This year, we have added The Period Door Collection to our product range. If you would like to see this range in the flesh, we have the Victorian in our showroom with its beautiful coloured glass. So, make sure you pop in to pay us a visit!

We have also been delving more and more into the world of coloured PVC. With so much choice, it’s no wonder it’s an attractive option to give your property the edge.

This year our charity donation is to Motor Neurone Disease Association who work to improve care and support for people with MND and their families.

2018 has been one of our most successful and enjoyable years, with almost 250 installations completed – this is almost an increase of 50 installations compared to last year. In fact, 2018 was our busiest year-to-date and we cannot wait to see what is around the corner in 2019.

A Big Welcome To New Faces

This year we welcomed Ben, our new fitters ‘mate’, who joined our team. We are now pleased to say that Ben is a permanent member of our staff and we are so privileged to have him on-board.

It was an emotional day for us, especially when the original signage was revealed underneath that brought back a lot of memories of ‘the good old days’.

Rehau & Certass

Rehau had a bit of a ‘tidy up’ this year, whittling down their list of authorised partners and we are pleased to say that we are still on their list. This supports the fact that we only use the highest quality products for our installations, ensuring nothing short of the best.

Our team also meets the Minimum Technical Competency (MTC) as required by CERTASS and the Department for Communities and Local Governments. Our company is fully set up under the CE Marking regulations – information is available at our Chessington showroom.

Jurassic Discovery at RHS Wisley – July 21st to September 2nd

Running all summer, this even is fantastic for any little dinosaur lovers. The event gives everyone a chance to explore Jurassic plants and insects, and even dinosaur footprints. There are activities every day, including a trail to follow, fossils to look for. Children under 5 (and RHS members) get in free.

Birdworld 50 Days of Summer – July 16th to September 3rd

This series of events running all summer at Birdworld includes a trail around the park, plus lots of daily things to do. There are arts and crafts sessions, feeding sessions and flying displays, animal encounters and Punch and Judy shows too.

If you\’re a family that loves watching things go super fast, try one of these events.

Wings & Wheels at Dunsfold Aerodrome – August 25th-26th

This bank holiday weekend event is your chance to see flying displays from the Red Arrows and more. There are some great vehicles on the ground too, with a 2-hour motoring show, a couple of fun parades – and even a monster truck offering rides.

Brooklands Motorcycle Show – July 1st

If motorcycles are more your thing, head to the Brooklands Museum to admire some of the best specimens. Watch pre-war bikes take on modern machines as they tackle Test Hill.

Fetes and Festivals

Joining in with a fun gathering is always a good way to spend a summer day. Check out these fetes and festivals in Surrey this summer.

Guildford Summer Festival – June 8th to August 12th

Guildford summer festival runs all summer, and there\’s plenty to do. From cycle races to theatre and the crafts fair, there\’s something for all the family. Just turn up on a day that suits you.

GoFest South, Guildford – July 21st and 22nd

This event at Surrey Sports Park features 50 activities related to sports dance and fitness, and there\’s something for absolutely everyone. It\’s an inclusive event, so suitable for all the family, regardless of age or ability. Go along to have a go or just to watch.

Mini Monster Fest – August 5th

This miniature music festival for kids is a first for Surrey. But even though it\’s a new event, there are some classic things to do. Enjoy the face painting, bouncy castles, raffles, and lots of fun and games.

Having been selected and still remaining on the Rehau Authorised Partner scheme is a great highlight for us. Open to both trade and retail customers, the aim of the scheme is to display a recognisable Rehau Authorised Partner logo and to have its own landing page accessed directly from the website. We were selected for our long-standing relationship and high quality proven installations.
