Meet The Cosyhomes Windows Team

Gerald
Managing Director

A builder by trade, Gerald always bought his windows from well-established window installers Cosyhomes as the local Chessington window installer. After 28 years, the business was about to close its shutters for good after John – the previous owner – decided to retire. What a loss this would have been to Chessington? Gerald stepped in and took over in 2005 and Cosyhomes has continued to thrive since.

An installer of Surrey windows and doors for 35 years, Gerald is an expert in the trade. Customers appreciate his personal and passionate approach, as well as his willingness to find a way – nothing is ever too much trouble!

Gerald enjoys Coastal weekends with his wife (accompanied by a glass of wine or two) – when he can pull himself away from work that is…

Rachel
Office Manager

Rachel has worked for Cosyhomes since 2008, giving up a career in television to work with Windows – the fact it is the family business probably had a gentle sway! Over the last 6 years she has expanded her knowledge on our products and can advise on available options to you. Customer Service being her big priority, she wants to offer customers the best possible complete service throughout their installation.

She is married with Twin girls – country parks walking the dog and the family is her ideal weekend!

Gary
Fitter

Our trusted fitter Gary is definitely one of the gang – almost part of the furniture, some might say! Gary has been installing windows and doors for almost 35 years, and has worked for Cosyhomes for over 15 of those as one of our window installers. Gary knows Double Glazing inside out. He is a hard working, reliable member of the team and our customers consistently give glowing reviews of him and his work.

When not at work, Gary enjoys travelling with his partner and the occasional cheeky fishing trip!

Lorraine
Office Administrator

Our lovely Lorraine started with us in 2011 to cover a temporary Maternity position and we were so impressed with her efficiency and organisation skills, we asked her to stay. Lorraine works part-time covering the office. She is dependable and structured in all her work and brings years of experience as an administrator to her role. Customers always comment on her pleasant nature and willingness to get things done so why not give her a call to talk through your next project.

Lorraine is married with two daughters, and enjoys baking and cycling in her leisure time.

Justin
Fitter

Justin joined us during 2014 and set off to a flying start, getting stuck in and impressing us with his experience and meticulous approach to his work. Previously working as a contractor for various Chessington window installer around the Surrey area, he is pleased to join our team as an employee. Justin has been installing windows and doors for almost 18 years and is also a skilled and trained carpenter. Customers have been delighted by his friendly nature and attention to detail, and we think he fits with our established Chessington window installer team perfectly.

During his spare time, Justin not only enjoys time with his family but the occasional “extra” work for film and TV. Why not ask for an autograph!

Ken
Repairs and Servicing

Ken has worked for and alongside Cosyhomes over many years, and has a depth of experience as a Double Glazing installer. In his capacity now, he works independently carrying out repairs and service work of his own. He is an expert in this area and fully set up to deal with all manner of maintenance. The team at Cosyhomes are also equipped to repair and service windows but often we bring Ken in to give us a hand if we’re not able to get out to you as quickly as we’d like – we’re flexible.

When not replacing handles, hinges or letterboxes Ken spends time with his family, as well as belonging to a local ten-pin bowling team.

Our Little Helpers

Molly
Chief Office Dog

Molly belongs to Gerald and has been his side-kick at work since Gerald came to Cosyhomes in 2005. Molly took over the role as Chief Office Dog when Gerald unfortunately lost the original cast member Misty and has built up an audience of adoring fans around the local area ever since. She is friendly, gentle, great with children, and can often be seen on summer days sunbathing outside the shop front.

When not at work, Molly enjoys squirrel watching and free runs over the park.

Willow
Office Dog

Joining us as the newest member of the team, Willow is the baby. She is friendly, happy-go-lucky and loves a fuss. She belongs to Rachel and only comes into the office 1 or 2 days a week – lazy bones! We think she has appeal and customers definitely agree. Willow is taking her cue from Chief Office Dog, Molly and learning shop etiquette. Pop along for a cuddle sometime, Willow will not object.

Willow is a typical spaniel – lots of energy and loves to run. She enjoys occasional weekends retreats to the New Forest and North Devon with the family.
